Counci1memher Rowley <br />explained that if the plat does not have this easement, the County <br />will not allow it to be filed. <br />Councilmemher Baumgartner stated that since the County will not <br />build a four lane road on a 4r easement anyway, the City could <br />request that curbs, gutters and sidewalks he installed. <br />MSP(€laumgartner- 7ie€5arth) to approve the "Ion Homestead Addition as <br />presented on the preliminary plat dated January 7, 1977. <br />Sandra ^le"erson stated that they understood the easements would be <br />for drainage purposes, not utilities. Administrator Achen stated <br />that "utility easement" is a term used icy the City, hut the intention <br />is for drainage. The City asks for drainage easements hecause of the <br />Problems that arose in the Spring of 1975.
