February 14, 1977 <br />Page 8 <br />Mr. Aslanidis stated that he still felt the proposed intersection is <br />preferable. <br />Administrator Achen urged the Council to take the property to the <br />south into consideration on anything that is negotiated or considered <br />if their desire is to pursue this. AdministratorAchen explained <br />that there will be the exact same problem with that large land <br />owner wanting to develop his property. If the Council does not <br />solve the traffic problem now, it may be worse in the future. <br />MSP (Pickar-Rowley) to direct the City Administrator to work with <br />the Northcrest Park Development owners in securing Minnesota Department <br />of Transportation approval for the cut and further direct the City <br />Administrator to contact the other major land owners and get copies <br />of the Northcrest Park Development plaA. 4 ayes <br />APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA <br />ISP (Pickar-Ziebarth) for approval of the following consent agenda <br />items except Item c. <br />Mayor Pickar stated that he wanted to comment on Item c separately. <br />Councilmember Rowley pointed out that Item d should say a 10 foot <br />utility easement on Sunnyside, not a 5 foot one. Eng. Hubbard agreed.4 ayes <br />ITEI A. Authorize Mayor and City Administrator to execute 1277-70 <br />Labor Agreement with I.u.n.E. Local 40. Basic terms of agreement <br />increase maintenance hourly rate to ^:n.c2 in 1977 and "7.02 in 1270; <br />increase city contribution to health/life insurance to '60 per month; <br />and create apprentice wage rate of 21 percent first year, 95 percent <br />second year and 100 percent in third year of employment. <br />ITEM R. Approve specifications and authorize bid opening 2:00 p.m., <br />March 4, 1277, for tree removal service contract. <br />ITEM D. Approve, as recommended by Planning Commission (2/0/77 minutes), <br />minor subdivision request of Ken Sjodin to create two lots from existing <br />property located at 7415 Red Oak Drive. The west lot fronting Red <br />Oak Drive shall be 91 x 2F4 feet ,fith a 10 foot drainage and utility <br />easement on rear lot line and an 8 foot additional road easement on <br />front lot line; a 10 foot utility easement shall abut the additional <br />Red Oak Drive easement. The east lot fronting Sunnyside Road shall <br />be 81 x 2F4 feet with a 10 foot drainage and utility easement on front <br />lot line. <br />ITEM E. Approve, as recommended by Planning Commission (2/9/77 minutes), <br />minor subdivision request of Harvey W. Melby to create two lots from <br />existing property located at 3372 Greenwood Drive. The west lot fronting <br />Easitwood Road shall be 122.5 x 264.01 feet. The east lot fronting <br />Greenwood Drive shall be 102.5 x 264.04 feet. Five foot utility and <br />drainage easements shall be provided on the rear, north and south lines <br />of both lots. <br />
