Councilmember Rowley replied that in the letter <br />she received from Administrator Achen, the cost appears to be $30 per day per <br />person, which would include meals. <br />MSP (Rowley - Pickar) to approve Item E on the consent agenda, to set the following <br />dates for the Council /Staff team building retreats to be held at the Seven Pines <br />Lodges, Lewis, Minnesota, with the Council retreat to be November 4 and 5, 1977 <br />and the joint Council /Staff retreat to be November 19 and 20, 1977. 4 ayes <br />Councilmember Baumgartner stated that he would like to see an itemized bill for <br />Long Lake 66 for repairs before their check is issued. <br />MSP (Baumgartner - Pickar) to approve Item G on the consent agenda, the payment of <br />the October 11, 1977 bills with the exception of Check #15398, until Long Lake 66 <br />presents an itemization of specific charges. 4 ayes <br />FINANCIAL CONSULTANT CONTRACT - DEBT SERVICE AND STORM SEWER STUDIES <br />Mayor Pickar stated that the proposed contract with Ehlers & Associates, Inc. for <br />financial consultant services is the standard contract that the City has entered into <br />previously for the sale of bonds and debt service study. The services of Ehlers & <br />Associates are essential in the preparation of the feasibility report in order to <br />determine the most practical and equitable special assessment procedures and what <br />portion of the project cost can be realistically financed through general taxes. <br />In addition, the City is requesting Ehlers & Associates update the 1973 Debt <br />Service Study, which would assist in the Council's decision making process regarding <br />the storm sewer financing. <br />Mr. Phil Chenoweth introduced himself as a representative of Ehlers & Associates and <br />gave a brief summary of the contract. <br />Attorney Meyers stated that he felt four years was more than enough time to go by <br />
