PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A regular meeting of the Mounds View City Council was called to order by Acting <br />Mayor Hodges at 7:30 PM on August 28, 1978 at the Mounds View City Hall, 2401 <br />Highway 10, Mounds View, Minnesota 55112. <br />Members Present: Also Present: <br />Acting Mayor Hodges <br />Councilmember Baumgartner <br />Councilmember Rowley <br />Councilmember Ziebarth <br />Clerk /Administrator Achen <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Building and Zoning Official Rose <br />MSP (Baumgartner - Rowley) to approve the minutes of the August 14, 1978 meeting <br />as presented. <br />Councilmember Ziebarth stated he was abstaining from the vote as he had not been <br />present at that meeting. <br />3 ayes <br />1 abstain <br />CITIZENS COMMENTS AND REQUESTS <br />David Notaro, 2749 Ardan Avenue asked the status of the petition he had presented <br />to the Council on March 27, requesting that the MTC buses be rerouted from Ardan <br />Avenue, and stated that he was still very interested in getting the buses rerouted. <br />Administrator Achen replied that a survey had been conducted of the area and that <br />he had submitted the results of the survey to the Council at their last agenda <br />session and that they had asked for a further breakdown of the results, which will <br />be presented at the September 5 agenda meeting. <br />Councilmember Ziebarth stated that it would be a good idea for those citizens interested <br />in the rerouting to be at that meeting. Mr. Notaro replied that he would be and that <br />he would be willing to help analyze the results of the survey. <br />Duane McCarty, 8060 Long Lake Road asked when the Council would make public the list <br />of people they had recommended for the charter commission. Administrator Achen replied <br />that the lists from the Council members had been hand written and sent into the judge, <br />and that he was not certain that copies were even made. <br />Acting Mayor Hodges stated that he thought he had a copy of his list somewhere in his <br />records and that he would look for it. Councilmember Rowley and Councilmember <br />Ziebarth stated they would also look for their copies. Administrator Achen added that <br />the names of all people who had either called City Hall or mailed in a letter, express- <br />ing interest in being on the commission, had been forwarded to the judge. <br />Bill Doty, 3049 Bronson asked if the bond sale for $1.4 million would be covering <br />Project 1978 -3. Administrator Achen replied that it would be covering portions of it, <br />basically Phase 1. <br />Mr. Doty asked how many property owners were involved in Project 1978 -3. Administrator <br />
