PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A special meeting of the Mounds View City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Pickar at 7:10 PM on Monday, October 2, 1978, at the Mounds <br />View City Hall, 2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, Minnesota 55112. <br />Members present: <br />Mayor Pickar <br />Councilmember Hodges <br />Councilmember Rowley <br />Councilmember Ziebarth <br />Members absent: <br />Councilmember Baumgartner <br />Also present: <br />Clerk - Administrator Achen <br />Public Works Superintendent Decheine <br />Building & Zoning Official Rose <br />Park & Recreation Director Anderson <br />Finance Director Brager <br />Police Investigator Ramacher <br />7:12 PM, Mayor Pickar opened the assessment hearing on Public Improvement <br />Project 1977 -2, Bona Road extension. Administrator Achen explained <br />that Council is proceeding under authority of Minnesota Statutes Chapter <br />429. He indicated that legal notices were mailed to all affected property <br />owners on September 15, 1978, and legal notice thereof published in <br />the New Brighton Bulletin September 14 and 21, 1978. <br />Dan Boxrud, Short Elliott Hendrickson, explained that the assessment <br />rolls were based upon the following Project costs: <br />construction <br />engineering <br />legal, fiscal <br />capitalized interest <br />administrative <br />Total <br />$ 36,910 <br />7,468 <br />535 <br />2,215 <br />1,885 <br />$ 49,013 <br />This cost has been assessed to individual parcels as follows: <br />street frontage $ 23.9525 per foot <br />sanitary sewer service 434.67 per lot <br />water service 536.93 per lot <br />storm sewer 198.12 per lot <br />Councilmember Ziebarth asked whether any written communications regarding <br />this proposed assessment had been received. Administrator Achen <br />indicated none had been received. <br />Mayor Pickar asked whether there were any objections to these proposed <br />assessments. There were none. <br />Mayor Pickar closed the assessment hearing on Project 1977 -2 at 7:18 PM. <br />MSP (Pickar- Hodges) to adopt Resolution No. 934 adopting assessments <br />for Improvement Project 1977 -2. 4 ayes <br />
