Liaison between City Council and Department Heads (communicate <br />City Council policy directives to Department Heads for <br />implementation) <br />E. Clerk functions, e.g. elections, resolutions, record keeping, <br />ordinances, Council minutes, etc. <br />F. Personnel issues <br />G. Delegation of work load <br />H. Professional guidance and direction <br />II. Mayor, City Council and Department Head relationship <br />A. City Council provides policy direction to the City Administrator <br />who in turn oversees the implementation of Council directives <br />through Department Heads <br />B. Open, honest and sharing relationships <br />C. Review of proposed Council agenda process <br />III. Team Management <br />A. Provides best decision through group discussion and interchange <br />of ideas <br />B. Past training - 7 Pines Lodge and in- service sessions <br />C.
