Adopt Resolution No. 972 authorizing the City of Maplewood <br />to sponsor application of a grant for new police mobile <br />radio units. <br />ITEM E. Schedule a public meeting with the Planning Commission <br />for March 14, 1979, at 7:00 PM to discuss the minimum <br />lot size requirements. <br />ITEM F. Approve the following Commission appointments: <br />. Frank Holm - Festivities Commission - 3 -year term <br />. Lorna Holm - Festivities Commission - 3 -year term <br />• Barb Haake - Park & Recreation Commission - 1 -year term <br />ITEM G. Set the pay rate for Barbara Collins, Clerical Aide, at <br />$3.25 per hour. <br />ITEM H. Approve the March 12, 1979, bills for payment. <br />ITEM I. Approve the following licenses: <br />CONTRACTORS - expire 6/30/79 <br />General - new <br />Carlson Store Fixture <br />26 No. 5th St. <br />Concept 21 Builders Inc. <br />1700 -- 3rd St. NWW7. <br />Karlen Construction <br />901 - 125th Ave. N.E. <br />Masonry - new <br />Victor J. Petersen Cement <br />1171 - 109th Ave.. N.E. <br />Acting Administrator Anderson stated that under Item B, the actual amount <br />to be released was $30,698.80, since $2,000 was to be kept in escrow for <br />televising the sewer lines, and read Resolution #973. He added that <br />Attorney Meyers had asked that Mr. Carpenter bring in the bond for the <br />City to hold in its file before releasing the payment. <br />Mr. Carpenter stated that he felt it was just a technicality to have the <br />bond in the file and that he had cooperated with the City. He added that <br />he could sue Mounds View Development Company No. 1 for breech of contract. <br />Ken Thorton stated that he would bring the bond into City Hall first <br />thing in the morning. <br />MSP (Ziebarth - Hodges) to approve Resolution #973, contingent upon <br />receiving Bond L05- 024256. 5 ayes <br />Acting Administrator Anderson stated that he had received a letter from <br />Warren Herold, 7730 Greenwood Drive and passed out copies to the Council. <br />
