PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A regular meeting of the Mounds View City Council was called to <br />order by Mayor McCarty at 7:30 PM on March 26, 1979, at the <br />Mounds View City Hall, 2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, MN 55112. <br />Members present: Also present: <br />Mayor McCarty <br />Councilmember Hodges <br />Councilmember Rowley <br />Councilmember Ziebarth <br />Councilmember Forslund <br />Acting Clerk - Administrator Anderson <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Mayor McCarty asked that the March 26th minutes on page 3 be <br />changed to read in the second paragraph: <br />. . and asked him to <br />present the plan to inform residents present and . . ." <br />Mayor McCarty further requested that the minutes in the same <br />third paragraph last line read: <br />• <br />. , discussing such proposals." <br />Councilmember Forslund requested that the 1st & 2nd paragraph of her <br />report on page 5 be revised to read: <br />Councilmember Forslund reported that the water treatment <br />plant at City Hall is being sand - blasted and repaired and <br />will take two to three weeks to complete. She also <br />reported that she had visited the office of Comstock & <br />Davis with the maintenance supervisor for the meeting <br />with H & A Contractors to review the specifications for the <br />cleaning and repainting of the water tower and water treatment <br />plant #l. <br />Councilmember Forslund reported that the Maintenance Department <br />has been working on grading the streets, using a grader <br />from the County when available. The sand and salt used <br />from the County was on an experimental basis reuse of sand <br />and salt caught in holding tanks from street runoff. There <br />was no charge for this. <br />
