He stated that they have more than <br />ample funds for purchasing a new unmarked car and that they would like <br />to purchase a Grenada from Brookdale Ford for $5363. <br />MSP (McCarty - Hodges) to authorize the Police Department to purchase <br />the Grenada in the amount of $5363 from Brookdale Ford. <br />4 ayes <br />MSP (Rowley- McCarty) that after the car is purchased, the brown 1974 <br />Ford be assigned to the Community Services Officer. 4 ayes <br />Councilmember Rowley asked that it be noted the 100 percent refund <br />amounted to $7583.04. <br />SINGEWALD ROOFING COST OVERRUN <br />Acting Administrator Anderson reviewed the high percentile cost overrun in <br />the Public Works Department for the work done on Pump House No. 1 and <br />No. 2. He also recommend that Council direct Staff to draft a policy <br />to determine how future problems should be handled. <br />MSP (Rowley- McCarty) to pay the entire bill of $7715.91, to come from <br />the water utility fund, to include the overrun amount of $2809.91. 4 ayes <br />Councilmember Rowley asked that Staff address the problem and come up <br />with a recommendation for the Council. <br />ACTING ADMINISTRATOR ANDERSON'S REPORT <br />Acting Administrator Anderson reviewed the upcoming meeting schedule. <br />He also reported on the City undertaking the maintenance of the fire <br />vehicles. Councilmember Ziebarth recommended that it be tried on a <br />trial basis for a set number of months, and that they look at the work <br />load before making any decision. <br />Acting Administrator Anderson reported that he would be viewing the <br />Ronald McDonald Puppet Wagon and that the City had been invited to <br />bid on it if they were interested. <br />MSP (Ziebarth- Rowley) to authorize Staff to negotiate the purchase of <br />the vehicle, particularly the Ronald McDonald Puppet Truck, with the <br />understanding that the Staff Management Team review the proposal and <br />the mechanic inspect the truck, with $900 allowed for the truck and <br />an additional $300 for a maintenance face -life, with the money to be <br />funded by the City Contingency Fund, with a maximum of $1200. 4 ayes <br />ATTORNEY MEYERS' REPORT <br />Attorney Meyers had no report. <br />COUNCILMEMBER ROWLEY'S REPORT <br />Councilmember Rowley asked that the violation at the liquor establish- <br />
