This study was completed June 12, 1978, and showed
a cost estimate of $87,930. He suggested two options: Either order a feasibility
study to get cost estimates again, or use 1978 -6 and see if the 12 percent
increase bears out. The only thing that wasn't covered by 1978 -6 was providing
services across Silver Lake Road.
Councilmember Forslund raised the question whether Ramsey County would allow
crossing Silver Lake Road. Councilmember Rowley stated there should be no problem
with a single crossing, but it should be confirmed.
Councilmember Ziebarth asked that the minutes reflect the City has reviewed a
petition from owners of three properties that apparently do not represent 35 percent
of the frontage. Therefore, this project will have to proceed as a Council -
initiated project.
