CONSENT AGENDA <br />June 25, 1979 <br />The consent agenda is a technique designed to expedite handling of <br />routine and miscellaneous official business of the City Council. The <br />entire agenda may be adopted by the Council in one motion. The motion <br />for adoption is non - debatable and must receive unanimous approval. By <br />request of any individual Council Member, any item can be removed from <br />the consent agenda and placed upon the regular agenda for debate. <br />ITEM A. Award the seal coating bid project to lowest bidder, Allied <br />Blacktop at the total cost of $30,786.29 <br />ITEM B. Adopt Resolution No. 989 denying the minor subdivision request <br />of Kenneth Sjodin for the property described below: <br />The North 1/2 of Lot 47, Auditor subdivision No. 89, Ramsey <br />County, Minnesota, except the east 200 feet and the north <br />152.5 feet thereof <br />ITEM C. Adopt Resolution No. 990 denying the request of Bayport Builders <br />for a minor subdivision of Lot 19, Spring Lake Park Hillview <br />Addition <br />ITEM D. Adopt Resolution No. 991 ratifying Acting Administrator Anderson's <br />administrative actions from January 8, 1979 through June 29, 1979 <br />ITEM E. Authorize payment to Mounds View Company #1 as per development <br />agreement No. 78 -25 totaling $18,391.01 <br />ITEM F. Approve the employment of Marie Ament as Sr. Accounting Clerk <br />at $4.85 /hour effective June 18, 1979, and at the rate of <br />$5.20 /hour effective January 1, 1980 <br />ITEM G. Approve Jack Shields as the City Weed Inspector at the rate of <br />$10 /inspection not to exceed $100 per year to be paid out of <br />the City's contigency account <br />ITEM H. Adopt Resolution No. 992 authorizing staff to acquire mobile <br />radio units through the Minnesota Planning Board block grant. <br />ITEM I. Adopt Resolution No. 993 declaring June 24 through July 1, 1979, <br />as Minnesota Park and Recreation Week. <br />ITEM J. Adopt Resolution No. 994 recommending the defeat of H.R. 3492, <br />"The Aviation Safety and Noise Reduction Act" <br />ITEM K. Authorize staff to enter into a contract with Mid -West Planners <br />Inc. to complete the Mounds View comprehensive update as required <br />by the Metropolitan Council. <br />ITEM L. Approve the June 25, 1979, bills for payment: expenditures/ <br />$127,276.67; payroll account - $3,624.43 <br />
