MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL Regular Meeting <br />Page 5 August 27, 1979 <br />Forslund made the motion, seconded by McCarty <br />to adopt Resolution 1007, Minor Subdivision for <br />Robert Lunde, 8444 Red Oak Drive. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays <br />This is requested by Staff for dictating equip- <br />ment and a filing cabinet for personnel records. <br />McCarty made the motion, seconded by Ziebarth, <br />to approve Resolution 1017 authorizing transfer <br />of funds from Contingency to Acct. 100-120-4703. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays <br />$375.00 is requested by Park & Recreation Dept. <br />to complete development of Oakwood Tot Lot. <br />This additional money is needed due to price <br />increases of equipment from time of budget to <br />time of purchase. <br />McCarty made the motion, seconded by Ziebarth, <br />to approve Resolution 1013 authorizing transfer <br />of funds from Contingency to Acct. 100-350-4703. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays <br />Dan Boxrud of Short-Elliott-Hendrickson, Inc. <br />informed Council of outcome of recent soil <br />boarings for Project 79-1. S-E-H had based <br />their proposal on verbal information from the <br />County. Soil boarings, however, indicate the <br />soil is inbufficient for utility lines. They <br />feel utilities can still be provided but a <br />revised feasibility report is recommended. <br />Mayor suggested the matter be taken under <br />advisement. Attorney Meyers recommended the <br />residents in the affected area be informed of <br />the status of utilities. Staff was directed to <br />write a letter to these residents and invite <br />them to the next agenda session. <br />Meyers: No report <br />Nelson explained the City has $94,056 of anti- <br />cipated revenue sharing funds for 1980. There <br />are also $30,345 of unencumbered funds available <br />from the previous year, resulting in $124,401. <br />The Mayor closed the regular meeting and opened <br />the Public Hearing. <br />g.
