MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL Regular Meeting <br />Page 5 September 10, 1979 <br />Doug Dindorf, 2901 Oakwood, spoke for <br />neighbors concerned with traffic safety on <br />Knollwood. He also questioned what the <br />proposed buffering would be. <br />Lundquist stated they propose to buffer with <br />a 6' fence (approx.) with shrubs and trees. <br />The closest building would have no windows <br />toward neighbors. <br />Dindorf also questioned the status of exit <br />from Hwy. 10. He was advised the fire chief <br />requires 2 means of access, Oakwood and Hwy. 10. <br />McCarty made the motion, seconded by Ziebarth, <br />to grant conceptual approval, contingent upon <br />right of way as discussed at this meeting, <br />proposed buffering, drainage, fencing, road <br />access, looped water mains, and 30' easements <br />from Oakwood to Highway 10. <br />(Nay vote: Rowley, because she <br />is uncomfortable with the data <br />presented.) <br />3 ayes <br />1 nay <br />Forslund made the amendment, seconded by Ziebarth, <br />that a 30' easement be allowed to be used as a <br />private roadway until such time as the surrounding <br />property is developed. <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays <br />No report. <br />No report. <br />7.
