PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Special Meeting <br />September 13, 1979 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View MN 55112 <br />Mayor McCarty called the meeting to <br />order at 7:13 p.m. on September 13, <br />1979 at City Hall. <br />1. Call to Order <br />Members Present: Mayor McCarty, Council- 2. Roll Call <br />members Forslund, Rowley, Ziebarth <br />Members Absent: Absent Hodges <br />Also Present: City Administrator Nelson <br />was present representing the staff. <br />The Mayor noted that the purpose of this <br />meeting was to complete unfinished business <br />from Monday,September 10, 1979. <br />The City Council wanted to insure that the <br />street vacation of Mustang Lane had suff- <br />icient time to elapse for the legal <br />requirements. There was no one present <br />to object to the proposal. Mayor McCarty <br />called for the question on Resolution 1021. <br />Ziebarth moved the adoption of Resolution <br />1021. It was seconded by Rowley. <br />The motion carried. <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays <br />3. Street Vacation <br />Mustang Lane <br />The City received and regretfully accepted 4. Resignation of <br />the resignation of Officer Loomis of the Edward Loomis <br />Mounds View Police Department. <br />The Council was asked for permission to 5. Establishment of <br />start the process for selection of corporal Corporal Postion <br />position for the Mounds View Police Department <br />by the Civil Service Commision. <br />Mayor moved that the Commission could begin <br />the selection process for corporal.
