MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL Regualar Meeting <br />Page 3 October 1, 1979 <br />Dennis Pietrine of 8434 Sunnyside Road <br />expressed a concern about the impact the <br />relocated Highway 10 and interchange would <br />have on the elementary school in the area. <br />Council thanked Mr. Robinson for his meeting <br />with the City Council and looked forward to <br />having dates set for additional public infor- <br />mation meetings regarding Highway 10 and the <br />upgraded plans for Highway 10. <br />City Administrator submitted to the City <br />Council four resolutions to be adopted <br />by the City Council with respect to the 1980 <br />budget adoption. <br />Ziebarth moved the adoption of Resolution No. <br />1028 adopting the 1980 City's Operating Budget <br />and it was seconded by Rowley. Motion carried: <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays <br />Hodges moved the adoption of Re s o l u t i o nNo . <br />1029 Authorizing the Issuance of Debt Certifi- <br />cates in 1980. This was seconded by Ziebarth. <br />Motion carried: <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays <br />Forslund moved the adoption of Resolution No. <br />1030, Certifying Bonds and Interest to be <br />collected in 1980. This was seconded by Rowely. <br />Motion carried: <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays <br />Rowley moved the adoption of Resolution No. <br />1031, Certifying 1980 General and Forestry <br />Funds Property Tax Levies. This was seconded <br />by Hodges. Motion carried: <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays <br />This ended the City's actions on adopting the <br />1980 Budget. The City also received from the <br />City Finance Director request to accept pledges <br />of security from the First State Bank of New <br />Brighton on certificates of deposits at that <br />bank. Hodges moved the adoption of Resolution <br />No. 1032, Acception Pledges of Security from <br />the First State Bank of New Brighton.
