The other apartment complex <br />with violations cited has corrected the bug <br />infestation problem. <br />McCarty: 1) Recommends appointment of Sharon <br />McCarthy, 7760 Long Lake Rd., as member desig- <br />nate of Planning Commission. <br />Hodges made the motion, seconded by Ziebarth, <br />that Council carry out the Mayor's recommend- <br />ation to appoint Sharon McCarthy as ex- officio <br />member of Planning Commission through 1980. <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays <br />2) Suggested Council and Administrator get <br />together to prioritize goals and initiate plans <br />to form neighborhood groups to work with the <br />Council. Neighborhood involvement is one of <br />the steps toward establishing City long -range <br />goals, policies and implementation tools. <br />Nov. 17 was set for the meeting of Staff, <br />Council and Planning Commission, with a <br />December meeting to follow including everyone. <br />Councilmember Rowley arrived at this time (8 PM). <br />Rowley: Announced that the Lakeside Park meeting <br />will be held Thursday, 10/11/79. <br />Rose explained the Faircon, Inc. development <br />proposal for a 36,000 sq. ft. office /ware- <br />house building for Lot #7 of Mounds View <br />Industrial Park #3. (The details of this <br />proposal are contained in the Summary pre- <br />pared by Staff under Case #38 -79.) <br />Planning Commission approved this request <br />and a 10' variance for curb cut for the <br />entrance to the parking area. <br />Sewer connection cannot be made until PCA <br />approves a sewer extension permit for Mustang <br />Circle.
