MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL <br />Page 4 <br />Regular Meeting <br />October 22, 1:79 <br />McCarty made the motion., seconded by Hodges, <br />to authorize the City Administrator to enter <br />into an agreement with Smith Office Equipment <br />Co. for maintenance of typewriters from 1/1/30 <br />to 12/31/80. Prices are as follows: for IBM <br />a,b,c,d - $47.50; IBM Selectrics 1,2,2c - <br />$47.53 each, and IBM Executive - $51.50. <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays <br />5) Resolution 1037 requests the transfer of <br />$23,000 from tha Water fund to the General <br />fund; and $15,000 from the Sewer fund to the <br />General fund. (This provides a means of paying <br />Staff for their related services.) <br />Rowley made the motion, seconded by Hodges, to <br />adopt Resolution 1037. <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays <br />6) City has paid_ $30,736.29 to Allied Blacktop <br />Co. and still owes $4,309.66. This represents <br />a 147, overrun of the project. <br />McCarty recommended the matter be deferred to <br />a later meeting until further information is <br />obtained. <br />McCarty made the motion, seconded by Forslund, <br />to delay action on the 1979 Sealcoating Project <br />until Council receives more information on how <br />tha overrun happened. <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays <br />rh2 City has received on 10/12/79 a petition for 7. <br />water service oa the west side of Silver Lake <br />Road between County Rd. I and Highway 10, which <br />includes 48% of the affected 733' of frontage. <br />Resolution 1036 declares adequacy of the <br />pedtion and a feasibility study may be ordered. <br />Rowley made the motion, seconded by McCarty, to <br />accept the petition dated 10/11/79 for the <br />extension of water service to serve the property <br />along the west side of Silver Lake Rd. between <br />Hwy. 10 and County Rd.
