Mr. Kremer indicated he <br />and his son as well as other property owners <br />would like to attend this session. <br />Rose reported he has received calls from <br />residents wanting information about the <br />status of the Halvorson proposal, i.e., <br />Knollwood Rd. extension, etc. He recommended <br />an informal work session for concerned <br />residents, Halvorson representatives, and <br />Staff. Given a week's notice, Staff would <br />notify press and reserve City Hall for <br />such a work session. <br />Parks, Recreation & Forestry Director <br />Anderson outlined the procedure followed <br />by the Mounds View Parks & Recreation <br />Commission in selecting a consultant to <br />update the Comprehensive Parks and Open <br />Space Plan. <br />McCarty moved, seconded by Ziebarth, that <br />Saunders & Thalden be given conceptual <br />approval for Staff to begin negotiating a <br />formal contract not to exceed $15,000 for <br />the specific planning services as outlined <br />in their proposal dated November 5, 1979 <br />and the Mounds View Parks & Recreation <br />Commission letter dated October 26, 1979. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays <br />Halvorson proposal <br />6. REPORTS OF COUNCIL - <br />MEMBERS /ADMINISTRATOR <br />Ziebarth: No report <br />Forslund: No report <br />Hodges: Stated he had received complaints <br />about County Rd. I between Silver Lake Rd. <br />and Spring Lake Rd. because of the sharp <br />bend, narrowness, and heavy truck traffic. <br />Hodges will request the County take a look <br />at the road. <br />McCarty: 1) Called attention to Resolution <br />#1049 re: appointment of 7 members to the <br />Mounds View Cable TV Commission. <br />
