PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Regular Me ting <br />December 10, 1979 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View MN 55112 <br />The Mounds View City Council was called 1. CALL TO ORDER <br />to order at 7:30 FM on December 10, 1979 <br />by the Mayor. <br />Membe <br />Present: Mayor McCarty, Council- 2. ROLL CALL <br />members Forslund, Hodges, Rowley, Ziebarth <br />bsent: None <br />Also Present: City Attorney Meyers, City <br />Administrator Nelson, Building & Zoning <br />Official Rose <br />Rowley moved to accept the minutes of <br />November 26, 1979 as corrected. It was <br />seconded by Forslund. <br />The motion carried. <br />(Abstention: Hodges, because <br />of absence at the meeting) <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays <br />1 abstention <br />Attorney Meyers requested the minutes of <br />December 5, 1979 be deferred to a later <br />time because he has several changes. <br />Comments on minutes of November 5 and <br />November 8, 1979 are requested before the <br />agenda session next Monday. <br />3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Forslund moved to accept the Consent 4. APPROVAL OF CONSENT <br />Agenda. It was seconded by Hodges. AGENDA (See attached) <br />The motion carried. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays <br />Bob Hedlund, 8424 Suanyside Road, felt that <br />MnDOT had circumvented the City in their <br />decision to relocate Highway. 10. He asked <br />what the Council intended to do in view <br />of the decision. <br />Dave Coffey, 2757 Hillview Rd., presented <br />a petition with 35 names of residents <br />against fragmenting the City by upgrading <br />present Highway10. They support resolution 831 <br />calling for relocation of Hwy. 10. <br />5. RESIDENTS REQUESTS & <br />COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR <br />
