MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL <br />Page 3 <br />Continuance of Regular <br />Meeting of February 11, 1980 <br />February 12, 1980 <br />seconded the motion. <br />The motion carried. <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays <br />The Council next discussed the Planning <br />Commissions' request for the Council to <br />respond to the January 3, 1980 memo drafted <br />by the Building & Zoning official. Council <br />agreed that they would discuss the memo <br />on the 19th of February at their Agenda <br />Session to develop a response for the City <br />Planning Commission. <br />The Administrator asked the City Council 7. BID OPENINGS <br />if they would consider Bid Awards on the STREET SWEEPING & SEALCOATING <br />10th of March 1980 for bids on Street <br />Sweeping and Sealcoating for the year. He <br />noted that the bid advertisement would be <br />found in the 21st of February's newspaper <br />and the bid opening would occur at 9:00 AM <br />on March 7th if approved by Council. <br />Rowley moved that the City Council accept <br />bids for opening on 9:00 AM, 7 March 1980 <br />and the bid award consideration would <br />occur on March 10, 1980 for street sweeping <br />and sealcoating. Further that they author- <br />ize the Staff to take necessary actions to <br />advertise for those bids. Hodges seconded <br />the motion. <br />The motion carried. <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays <br />The Administrator asked the City Council <br />with regards to the recent vehicle bid <br />awards if the Council had any preference <br />in the color of the vehicles as alternative <br />to the traditional highway orange.
