MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL Regular Meeting <br />Page 6 March 10,1980 <br />Jerry Blanchard representing the Lions <br />Club requested that the Lions Club be <br />allowed to use the same area along <br />Highway 10 near the Launching Pad that <br />they have used in the past years to hold <br />a Flea Market. It would be tentatively <br />scheduled for May 10th as the opening <br />and would run through until Labor Day. <br />Project that the Lions Club proposes for <br />the year would be the installation of a <br />PA System within City Hall. Staff was <br />directed to review the requirements <br />imposed upon the Lions Club last year <br />and present them to the City Council by <br />the 17th of March. <br />12. LION'S CLUB FLEA MARKET <br />Elements submitted to the City Council 13. CONSENT AGENDA <br />Consent Agenda (which is attached to the <br />end of this set of Minutes). There were <br />no questions raised by the City Council <br />over the Consent Agenda. Ziebarth moved <br />to adopt the Consent Agenda as submitted <br />and dispense with the reading of the <br />Resolutions contained therein. Hodges <br />seconded the motion. <br />The motion carried. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays <br />Nelson had prepared for the City Council 14. RESOLUTION 1091 <br />a Resolution 1091 extending the length <br />of time from 15 days to 30 days for the <br />collection of utility receipts before a <br />penalty is imposed by the City as a late <br />fee. This Resolution was drafted at the <br />Council's direction. Hodges moved the <br />adoption of Resolution 1091, it was <br />seconded by Forslund. <br />The motion carried. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays <br />The Park Commission had submitted to the 15. PARK COMMISSION REQUESTS <br />City Council a list of dates for public <br />hearings to be held on their proposed <br />Comprehensive Park Plan. It requested <br />of the City Council concurrent with both <br />the time schedule and the format used in <br />the public hearings. The Council pro- <br />vided general concensus that they agreed <br />with the schedule and decided to see the <br />Park Commission on the 7th of April at <br />their Agenda Session for that evening <br />to hear the presentation of the Commis- <br />sion. <br />
