MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL Regular Meeting <br />March 24, 1980 Page 12 <br />Forslund expressed concern over the 24. COUNCIL REPORT - <br />intersection of County Road I and FORSLUND <br />Silver Lake Road that it was inappro- <br />priatley controlled from the standpoint <br />of stop signs. Forslund moved that <br />Ramsey County's Department of Transpor- <br />tation be requested to install 4 -way <br />stop signs at the intersection of <br />County Road I and Silver Lake Road. <br />Hodges seconded the motion. <br />4 ayes <br />The motion carried. 0 nays <br />Forslund inquired as to the status of <br />hiring an Administrator's Secretary. <br />Nelson stated that the matter had been <br />turned over to Selection Committee and <br />that they were screening candidates. <br />Forslund asked about the status about <br />the Hurd Aerial Photography and Maps. <br />Nelson stated that the City employees <br />had to do some preliminary survey work <br />for the company in order to receive <br />the documents that we had contracted. <br />for. The Staff was working diligently <br />on it and the City hoped to have it in <br />a short period of time. <br />Councilmember Forslund asked if we had <br />taken action on establishing weight <br />restrictions for the City, and the <br />Council stated that they had at a <br />previous meeting. Nelson further <br />noted that the Public Works Department <br />has posted the City regarding that <br />weight restriction. <br />Forslund next moved the authorization <br />for the Lion's Club to hold a Flea <br />Market beginning May 10th and to be <br />held each weekend through Labor Day, <br />and that the fee be waived for that <br />activity. Hodges seconded the motion. <br />4 ayes <br />The motion carried. 0 nays <br />
