MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL Regular Meeting <br />Page 2 <br />April 28, 1980 <br />McCarty - <br />1. Correct on Minutes Agenda Item #18 <br />that "Rowley made a motion ". <br />Ziebarth moved to adopt the April 14, 1980, regular <br />meeting minutes as amended. Hodges seconded the <br />motion. <br />The motion carried <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays <br />City Council considered approval of minutes for <br />the April 21, 1980 special meeting minutes. Mayor <br />called for any corrections or additions to the <br />minutes as submitted. Rowley moved to adopt the <br />April 21, 1980, special meeting minutes. Ziebarth <br />seconded the motion. <br />The motion carried. <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays <br />Mayor asked if there were any comments from <br />persons in the audience. There were no replies. <br />Mayor deferred the Council reports in order to <br />address items on the agenda for whom representatives <br />were in the audience. <br />Mayor referred to the letter from Rice Creek <br />Watershed District (dated April 23, 1980) <br />requesting Mounds View to join in a feasibility <br />study with Spring Lake Park regarding this <br />drainage problem. <br />Mr. Sandahl was in the audience and he commented <br />on his continuing frustration with the situation. <br />Mayor made a motion that City Council join in the <br />drainage feasibility study for $600 with SEH as <br />engineer and that 20% of this cost would be Mounds <br />View's share, providing Spring Lake Park agreed to <br />pay the additional 80 %. Further, the City disclaims <br />any liability in the matter and the money to pay <br />the City's share will be taken from the SDM fund. <br />Ziebarth seconded the motion. <br />The motion carried. <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays <br />6.
