MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL Regular Meeting <br />July 14, 1980 <br />Page Four <br />agreement between the developer and the City shall <br />be entered into regarding a bond set at $1,000 /unit <br />to cover the landscaping, grading, paving, and sodding <br />procedures. <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 <br />Forslund made an amendment to the main motion, <br />seconded by Rowley, that this approval is contingent <br />upon payment of consulting fees. <br />THE MOTION IS CARRIED. <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 <br />McCarty made an amendment to the amendment to the main <br />motion, seconded by Ziebarth, that none of the fore- <br />going be instigated until a letter of approval is <br />received by staff from the city engineer. <br />THE MOTION IS CARRIED. <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 <br />Forslund made a motion, seconded by Ziebarth, to <br />approve Resolution #1125 (the resolution setting <br />guidelines for the tax exempt industrial development <br />bonds by the City). <br />THE MOTION IS CARRIED. <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 <br />McCarty made a motion, seconded by Ziebarth to waive <br />the reading of Resolution #1125. <br />Ayes -5 THE MOTION IS CARRIED. <br />Nays -0 <br />Acting Clerk- Administrator Anderson indicated that 11. <br />out of the five finalists for the position, two <br />have withdrawn, two are set up for interview, and <br />one has not been able to be reached by staff. <br />THE MOTION IS CARRIED. <br />(MOTION CARRIES) <br />(MOTION CARRIES) <br />(MOTION CARRIES) <br />10. INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT REVENUE <br />BONDS - RESOLUTION #1125 <br />Rowley made a motion, seconded by Hodges, that <br />Council will be meeting Saturday, July 19th, at <br />8:00 A.M. and Monday, July 21st, at 6:30 P.M. for <br />the purpose of interviewing candidates for the <br />administrator's position. <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 <br />THE MOTION IS CARRIED. <br />Mr. Lloyd Bardwell, 8490 Knollwood Drive, was <br />present at the meeting.
