MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL Regular Meeting <br />Page Four July 28, 1980 <br />Councilmember Rowley asked the department heads <br />to be more specific with their proposed budgetary <br />needs for the next five years. She suggested <br />addressing such long term expenses as: maintenance <br />or replacements of Civil defense sirens, apparatus <br />for noise ordinance, repainting of water tank, and <br />other equipment /capital improvements. She noted <br />that this list could always be modified, but that it <br />should include all possible expenses known at this <br />time. <br />The meeting with the department heads to go over the <br />budget was set for August 4th at 7:30 P.M. <br />9. LONG TERM FINANCIAL PLAN FOR <br />PUBLIC SERVICE PROGRAM <br />Mayor McCarty noted that on the development agreement 10. <br />80 -36, the amount of $1,000 should be inserted in the <br />fourth sentence of #3. (Exhibit 2A). <br />Ziebarth made a motion, seconded by Rowley to approve <br />Resolution #1131, Bayport Acres -Final Plat Approval, as <br />submitted tonight and dispense with the reading. <br />Ayes -4 <br />Nays -0 <br />THE MOTION WAS CARRIED. <br />Ziebarth made a motion, seconded by McCarty to approve <br />Resolution #1132, Execution of Development Agreement 80 -36, <br />as submitted tonight and dispense with the reading <br />Ayes -4 <br />Nays -0 <br />THE MOTION WAS CARRIED <br />Ziebarth made a motion, seconded by Rowley to approve <br />the development agreement 80 -36, Exhibit 2A and to <br />dispense with the reading. (The amount of $1,000 was <br />added to the third point as noted above). <br />Ayes -4 <br />Nays -0 <br />THE MOTION WAS CARRIED. <br />Official Rose will contact the city attorney to see <br />what procedure is to be followed after this point. <br />Captain Tom Skeate presented to the Council <br />information on the past and current activities and <br />contributions made by the Fire Department to the City. <br />He noted the Class #4 fire rating that Moundsview <br />currently held.
