MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL Regular Meeting <br />Page 4 September 8, 1980 <br />rierk-Administrator Pauley suggested the Council <br />ermine a schedule for the purpose of discussing <br />City's 1981 budget. <br />MOTION: <br />Rowley made a motion, seconded by Hodges, that <br />Council meet on September 16th, 18th, 23rd, and <br />25th with a public hearing set for October 7th, <br />for the purpose of budget discussion. The meetings <br />will be at 7:00 P.M. <br />Ayes-5 Nays-0 <br />Mr. Hale has requested a peddlers license for selling <br />grapefruit and oranges in the City of Mounds View. <br />Mr. Hale was not present at the meeting. <br />MOTION: <br />Rowley made a motion, seconded by Ziebarth, to <br />delay action on the peddlers license until Mr. Hale <br />could be present. <br />Ayes-5 Nays-0 <br />Zicial Rose reviewed the changes in the M & E Realty/ <br />Kraus-Anderson agreement. He noted the attorneys from <br />M & E were updating the contract and would be sending it <br />to Attorney Meyers to verify title. <br />11. CITY BUDGET <br />MEETINGS SCHEDULE <br />MOTION CARRIES <br />12. PEDDLER LICENSE <br />FOR BILL HALE, <br />Route 1, Rolling <br />Meadows, Claremore, <br />Oklahome <br />MOTION CARRIES <br />13. M & E REALTY/ <br />KRAUS-ANDERSON <br />AGREEMENT <br />Official Rose also suggested to Council that the deadline <br />for the transaction be set for October 1st so the trans- <br />fer could take place prior to October 15th (this would <br />allow the City to exempt the property on taxes). He also <br />stated that if the City could not abate the taxes, the City <br />could be liable for taxes in the amount of $13,000. He <br />recommended that Council move on this so the City wouldn't <br />lose LocoN. <br />MOTION: <br />McCarty made a motion, seconded by Ziebarth, to accept <br />the M & E contract as presented to the Council at <br />this meeting on September 8, 1980, and to authorize <br />the;Mayor and Administrator to enter into the agreement <br />as presented. Further, that Council authorize Staff <br />to continue the process to consumate the transfer of <br />properties for Silverview Park. <br />Ayes-Hodges, Forslund, Rowley, Ziebarth, McCarty <br />Nay s-0 <br />MOTION CARRIES <br />
