REPORT OF BUILDING <br />AND ZONING OFFICIAL <br />1. Asked Council to set a public hearing for <br />Messiah Lutheran Church request for a day <br />care facility permit. <br />MOTION: <br />Rowley made a motion, seconded by Hodges, to set <br />a public hearing for 7:40 P.M., September 22nd, <br />for the conditional use permit for the Messiah <br />Lutheran Church, 4828 County Road H-2, for their <br />day-care facilities. <br />Ayes-5 Nays-0 MOTION CARRIES <br />Day Care Center- <br />Messiah Luth. Church <br />Public Hearing Set <br />2. <br />Information Item-HUD request for Moundsview to <br />respond to Section 8 proposal for the property <br />located by Greenfield Avenue and Jackson. The <br />City has 30 days to submit any objections to the <br />HUD office. Council noted they will discuss this <br />at the next meeting. <br />Attorney "Meyers stated he had no report. 15. REPORT OF CITY <br />ATTORNEY <br />FORSLUND: No Report. 16. REPORT OF COUNCIL- <br />MEMBERS <br />ROWLEY: <br />1. She referred Council to the action alert memo <br />that was included in their packet regarding the <br />local aid cut survey. She discussed it with the <br />Association of Metropolitan Board and they stressed <br />the need for the cities to answer the survey. She <br />also discussed it with Clerk-Administrator Pauley <br />and Finance Director Brager who also indicated that <br />any postponement of the November 15th payment would <br />create problems with the city's cash flow. <br />
