MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL October 14, 1980 <br />Regular Meeting Page Three <br />Attorney Meyers referred Mr. James Odle to the <br />Planning Commission for a variance request to <br />the existing city codes regarding the 5' setback <br />requirement on his property. <br />Mayor McCarty asked Mr. Odle if he wished to <br />withdraw his request for action from Council and <br />to submit his variance request to the Planning <br />Commission on October 15th. Mr. Odle said he <br />would withdraw his request from the Council at <br />this time <br />Official Rose stated that he had received a call <br />from Mounds View Square indicating their willing- <br />ness to allow the fish sales to take place on <br />their property. They would also provide insurance <br />coverage for those involved in these sales. They <br />will be sending a confirmation of this approval <br />in writing. <br />MOTION: Ziebarth made a motion, seconded by <br />Hodges, to waive the application fees and issue <br />a transient merchants license for the frozen <br />fish sale which is a fundraiser for the Irondale <br />Concert Choir. <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 <br />MOTION CARRIED. <br />8. REPORT OF THE BUILDING AND <br />ZONING OFFICIAL <br />Attorney Meyers: 9. REPORT OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />1. He is submitting copies of the wetland <br />ordinance to Council and Planning Commission <br />for their review. <br />2. Wolfe & Associates are wanting to increase <br />the IRB bonds to $600,000 instead of the initial <br />$475,000. They will be preparing the papers and <br />forwarding to the City of Mounds View. This <br />will be presented at a future Concil meeting. <br />Forslund: No report. 10. REPORT OF THE COUNCILPERSONS <br />Rowley: <br />1. She noticed a flower vendor moving about the <br />City last weekend. Administrator Pauley will <br />notify the Police Department. <br />2. The Association of Metropolitan Municipalities <br />will be meeting on October 29th. She will bring <br />back a report to Council. <br />3. She would like to have copies of the Council agendas <br />sent to candidates running for Council, in the event <br />they may wish to attend the meetings. <br />
