MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL October 27, 1980 <br />Regular Meeting Page Two <br />MOTION: McCarty made a motion, seconded by <br />Forslund, to address the front end loader <br />repairs as a separate item from the revenue <br />sharing hearing. <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 <br />MOTION CARRIED. <br />Mayor McCarty noted for the audience that <br />revenue sharing was the return of tax dollars <br />from the federal government to the City and <br />that the citizens could have input as to how <br />this money was spent. There were no comments <br />from the audience. <br />MOTION: Ziebarth made a motion, seconded by <br />Hodges, to approve the revenue sharing budget <br />as proposed with the addition of $9,200 for <br />the repairs of the front end loader giving a <br />total proposed expenditure of $163,897 and a <br />balance of $4,539. <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 <br />MOTION CARRIED. <br />The public hearing closed at 8:10 P.M. <br />The regular meeting re- opened at 8 :10 P.M. <br />MOTION: Ziebarth made a motion, seconded by <br />Forslund to authorize a $9,200 loan from the <br />water account for the repairs of the front end <br />loader to be reimbursed by the revenue sharing <br />in 1981. <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 <br />MOTION CARRIES, <br />MOTION: Hodges made a motion, seconded by Ziebarth, <br />to approve the October 7, 1980, Public Hearing <br />minutes as submitted. <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 <br />MOTION CARRIES <br />4.
