MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL November 10, 1980 <br />Regular Meeting Page Two <br />Rowley noted that Item #E should read "Effective <br />November 14th instead of November 25th ". <br />MOTION: Hodges made a motion, seconded by Rowley <br />to approve the consent agenda with the correction <br />of Item #E (changing November 25th to read November <br />14th). <br />Ayes -3 <br />Nays -0 <br />MOTION CARRIED. <br />7. APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA <br />Official Rose noted the following in his quarterly 8. THIRD QUARTERLY REPORT - <br />report: BUILDING AND ZONING OFFICIAL <br />ROSE <br />1. There was a reasonably fair increase in the <br />last quarter for building permits. <br />2. Overall,housim permits are down from last <br />year at this time (approximately 60% of last <br />year's quota at this time). <br />3. Commercial applications /evaluations have <br />been better than this time last year. <br />4. Staff will be meeting with the consultant <br />to discuss the housing element and implemen- <br />tation and capital improvements for the <br />comprehensive plan in the next few weeks. <br />5. Staff has examined approximately 25% of the <br />City's existing rental units. <br />6. Staff has received the wetlands ordinance <br />draft from the city attorney and it is now <br />being reviewed by the consulting engineer <br />with them. <br />7. They will be able to stay within the budget <br />for the inspection and the zoning and planning <br />divisions even though revenue is down from <br />last year. <br />Official Rose noted the following: 9. REPORT OF THE BUILDING AND <br />ZONING OFFICIAL <br />1. The person who has applied for the foundry <br />use has invited the Council to take a tour <br />of the foundry tomorrow morning at 7:00 A.M. <br />This foundry will be located on Plat #3. <br />2. The City has received the report from the <br />consultant on the Mr. Donut application for <br />the co -usage with the Brooks Superette. <br />The Planning Commission will review this on <br />Wednesday. <br />
