MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL December 8, 1980 <br />Regular Meeting Page Two <br />Mayor McCarty asked if there were any comments <br />or questions from the audience. There was no <br />reponse. <br />MOTION: Hodges made a motion, seconded by <br />Rowley, to adopt Resolution 1192 (increasing <br />the sewer rates effective 1- 1 -81), <br />and to waive the reading. <br />Ayes -4 <br />Nays -0 <br />MOTION IS CARRIED. <br />MOTION: Rowley made a motion, seconded by <br />Hodges to approve the minutes of November 24, <br />1980, regular meeting as submitted. <br />Ayes -3 <br />Nays -0 <br />Abstention -1 (Forslund -she had not attended <br />the November 24th meeting) <br />MOTION IS CARRIED. <br />Jessie Varns, 7350 Silver Lake Road: He asked <br />if there was any progress regarding the noise <br />ordinance for Mounds View. Mayor McCarty replied <br />that this was under consideration and that the <br />City was currently studying this issue. <br />Mr. Varns also noted to the Council that there <br />were some neighborhood dogs that were consistently <br />a nuisance near his place of residence. He asked Council <br />what was being done to eliminate this problem. <br />Mayor McCarty asked Clerk- Administrator Pauley to <br />follow through on this and respond back to Mr. Varns. <br />There were no other comments or questions from the <br />audience. <br />THE REGULAR MEETING CLOSED AT 7:45 P.M. <br />5.
