MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL December 8, 1980 Regular Meeting Page Five Mayor McCarty noted that he had discovered some possible computational errors in the establish- ment of new salary schedules as adopted from the Salary Administration and Performance Review Program presented by Stanton Associates in September of 1980. (This was approved 11 -24 -80 in Resolution #1194). He stated that the final approved salaries indicated a 13.2% instead of 12.5 %. There was a general discussion among the Council with Clerk- Administrator Pauley noting that the salary changes had been implemented (and retro- active pay had been received). The Council determined to discuss this issue at the next agenda session and to come to a final decision. Mayor McCarty and Councilmember Forslund noted their resistance to include the MSA street pro- posals in the long term financial plan. They felt proposals that were still in the prelimin- ary stages (i.e. Miller and Edgewood) could not appropriately be included in the long term financial plan at this time. MOTION: McCarty made a motion, seconded by Forslund, to approve the long term financial plan as presented and that the MSA street pro- posals for the years 1982 -83 be stricken from the proposal, and to waive the reading of the ordinance. Ayes- McCarty, Forslund Nays - Rowley, Hodges MOTION FAILED FOR LACK OF MAJORITY. The Council continued their discussion and viewpoints on this issue. MOTION: Rowley made a motion, seconded by Forslund, to approve the adoption of Resolution 1199 (Establish- ing Minnesota State Aid Street) and to waive the reading.
