MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL December 8, 1980 <br />Regular Meeting Page Seven <br />There was no report- Building and Zoning Official <br />Rose was attending a hazardous waste disposal <br />hearing. <br />No report. <br />16. REPORT OF THE <br />BUILDING & ZONING <br />OFFICIAL <br />17. REPORT OF THE <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br />Hodges: 18. REPORT OF THE <br />COUNCIL MEMBERS <br />1. He distributed copies to the Council listing <br />the source of Youth Service Bureau funds. <br />2. He couldn't attend the November 19th meeting <br />of the Firemans Relief Board, but he will <br />be reporting on this when he receives the <br />minutes. <br />Forslund: <br />No report. (Reminded Council of city dinner set <br />for March 28th.) <br />Rowley: <br />1. The Association of Metropolitan Municipalities <br />is meeting on December llth to review their <br />amended guidelines for reviewing local <br />comprehensive plans. She stated these were <br />more acceptable than the original proposed <br />guidelines they had submitted. <br />2. She asked that the Council hold a special <br />meeting next Monday at the agenda session <br />to decide on the salary levels for city <br />staff. (Previous discussion indicated possible <br />computational errors). <br />McCarty: <br />1. Charter Commission meeting will be held next <br />Thursday, December llth. <br />2. The Metropolitan Waste Control Commission has <br />asked for representation from local governments. <br />to make recommendations to them (but without <br />decision - making power). Mayor McCarty indicated <br />he would be interested in serving in this posi- <br />tion. <br />
