( <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1221 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />PUBLICATION AND PRESENTATION OF INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC BY THE <br />CITY COUNCIL AND BY THE MAYOR ON BEHALF OF THE CITY COUNCIL. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of Mounds View recognizes its <br />responsibility of keeping the public accurately informed; <br />WHEREAS, it is the City Council's goal to present credible <br />and honest information in its City Newsletter; <br />WHEREAS, specific articles previously published in the City <br />Newsletter met neither the intent nor the purposes of the City <br />Council in this regard;- <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council by total <br />consensus agree to the content of all public messages presented <br />in the City Newsletter by the City Council or by the Mayor on behalf <br />of the City Council prior to its date of publication. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all other public messages presented <br />by the City Council or on behalf of the City Council be presented in <br />final form at an agenda session preceding its presentation at a <br />regularly scheduled council meeting. <br />
