MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL January 26, 1981 <br />Regular Meeting Page Three <br />Upon further discussion, the Council asked <br />Administrator Pauley to obtain another cost <br />estimate of the study from the city engineer <br />as well as an estimate from two other engineers. <br />This item will be dropped from the consent <br />agenda for further action <br />Doty (Item H) He asked for clarification of <br />amusement devices for the license request of <br />the Launching Pad. Administrator Pauley <br />noted that this included both electronic and <br />non - electronic amusement devices. <br />MOTION: Doty made a motion, seconded by Hodges, <br />to approve Item H of the consent agenda (licenses <br />for approval) and to waive the reading of the <br />resolution. <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED. <br />Forslund -(Item F) She noted the phrase "manditory <br />code compliance" had a harsh tone for a resolution <br />approving a conditional use permit. Administrator <br />Pauley noted that complaints regarding code <br />compliance with this permit would be handled on <br />an individual basis and some complaints could be <br />handled in a simple manner. <br />MOTION: Forslund made a motion, seconded by Doty <br />to approve Item F (Approval of Resolution #1230 <br />approving the conditional use permit for used auto <br />sales and minor auto repair at 2848 Highway 10) <br />and to waive the reading of the resolution. <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED. <br />McCarty -(Item A) -He asked Administrator Pauley if <br />Silver Lake Road had to be an MSA road if the <br />adjoining County Road I was designated as an MSA <br />road. Administrator Pauley stated MSA streets /roads <br />could connect with either a county road /street or <br />another MSA road /street. <br />MOTION: McCarty made a motion, seconded by Doty, <br />to approve Item B(Approving Resolution #1232 desig- <br />nating County Road I from Silver Lake Road to High- <br />way 10 as a Minnesota State Aid Street) and to waive <br />the reading. <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED. <br />
