MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL February 9, 1981 <br />Regular Meeting Page 2 <br />MOTION: Doty made a motion, seconded by <br />Forslund to approve the January 26, 1981 <br />minutes (regular meeting) as corrected. <br />Ayes -3 Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED. <br />MOTION: Doty made a motion, seconded by <br />Blanchard to approve the February 2, 1981 <br />special meeting minutes as presented. <br />Ayes -3 Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED. <br />Jim Miller asked when his public hearing <br />was going to be set (Case 47 -80). Official <br />Rose stated it was to be set on February 23rd. <br />4. Approval of <br />2 -2 -81 Special <br />Meeting Minutes <br />5. Comments from <br />Audience <br />Forslund asked Administrator Pauley to read 6. Approval of <br />Resolutions #1233 and #1235. Consent Agenda <br />Administrator Pauley read Resolution #1233 <br />(Commending the Spring Lake Park, Blaine, <br />and Mounds View Fire Departments for their <br />donation to the City Of Mounds View) and <br />Resolution #1235 (A resolution of appreciation <br />to the Nation of Algeria). <br />MOTION: Blanchard made a motion, seconded by <br />Doty to approve the consent agenda and to <br />waive the reading of the other resolutions. <br />Ayes -3 Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED. <br />7. Quarterly Reports <br />FINANCE DIRECTOR BRAGER: He noted that, among <br />the regular activities, his department was: <br />- In the process of preparing for the 1980 audit. <br />(George M. Hanson was selected for the audit). <br />- Sharing data processing services to minimize <br />costs with 4 other cities. <br />PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT DECHEINE: <br />- The rotating schedule for the maintenance <br />men is working well. It helps them to keep up <br />their knowledge and expertise in all the areas <br />involved in public works. <br />- He said 75% of the sanitary sewer cleaning <br />was finished in 1980, and he hoped to complete <br />the remaining sewers starting this spring. <br />-He also hoped to have the storm sewer cleaning <br />completed this spring. <br />
