DATE APPROVED: 03 -09 -81 <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Regular Meeting <br />February 23,1981 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View MN 55112 <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to <br />order at 7:30 P.M. on February 23, 1981, <br />by Mayor McCarty. <br />Members present: Hodges, Forslund, Doty, <br />and Mayor McCarty. <br />Members absent: Blanchard (on vacation) <br />Others present: Clerk - Administrator Pauley <br />and Building & Zoning Official Rose. <br />Mayor McCarty introduced Shannon Quinn, the <br />new reporter of the New Brighton Bulletin <br />present at the meeting tonight. She will be <br />replacing Jim Schwartz. <br />MOTION: Doty made a motion, seconded by <br />Forslund to approve the February 5, 1981 <br />special meeting minutes. <br />Ayes -4 Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED. <br />Corrections: <br />Doty: <br />Page 6, second motion: He noted <br />that a resolution could not be passed <br />without 3 or more affirmative votes <br />from the Council (this vote had 2 ayes <br />and 1 nay). He stated to insert t °Motion <br />fails because of lack of 3 or more <br />affirmative votes from Council." (This <br />was for Resolution #1242). <br />Forslund: <br />1.
