Page 3, # #11, should also list Chapter 26. <br />MAIN MOTION: McCarty made a motion, seconded by <br />Forslund to refer to changes for the development <br />agreement to the attorney for review and to make <br />a recommendation for their final action at the next <br />regular meeting. <br />Ayes -4 Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED. <br />Councilmember Doty noted that Mr. Buzzel needed <br />final approvel as soon as possible in order to <br />start the project. Mr. Ken Sjodin, local real estate <br />agent representing Mr. Buzzel, noted the proposed <br />changes and indicated he had no difficulty with them. <br />He further stated that he was aware the agreement was <br />initially approved in August, 1980 when the charter <br />was in effect. He also noted that only change in <br />this agreement was that an easement was being moved <br />from the front to the back. <br />Clerk - Administrator Pauley noted that the attorney <br />had not yet reviewed this revised document and that <br />staff was not prepared to make specific recommendations <br />regarding the changes until this was done. <br />AMENDMENT TO THE MAIN MOTION: Doty made a motion, <br />seconded by Forslund to approve the amended contract <br />for Development Agreement 79 -28, Gale Addition - Clayton <br />F. Buzzel Homes as presented by Councilmember Doty. <br />Ayes -4 Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED. <br />Mayor McCarty introduced Senator Don Frank to the Council <br />and audience. Senator Frank addressed some specific <br />issues /bills pending in the Legislature at this time. <br />Among them were bills regarding: <br />A. Charter Commission minutes public availability. <br />B. Seller (non- dealer) vehicle transactions. <br />C. Shelters for battered women. <br />D. Adjustment to the Domestic Abuse Act. <br />E. Proposal to increase bonding for Northwest <br />Orient at Metropolitan Airport. <br />F. Reinstatement of educational funds. <br />G. Worker compensation bills. <br />H. Rules of bond counsel. <br />Mayor McCarty thanked Senator Frank for updating the <br />Council on this information and also for his efforts, <br />availability, and particular stand on issues important <br />to Mounds View residents. <br />10.
