MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL May 11, 1981 <br />Regular Meeting Page 11 <br />MOTION: Mayor McCarty made a motion, seconded <br />by Councilmember Blanchard to authorize the <br />Mayor and staff to enter into the 1981 -1982 <br />Tree and Stump removal Contract. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays MOTION CARRIED. <br />Attorney Meyers made a presentation of <br />Ordinance No. 305. He stated that presently <br />Ordinance 301 is in force which prohibits <br />wetland development. Discussion in length <br />took place regarding the Ordinance. <br />Summary of Discussion: <br />- Require buffering. <br />- Setting criteria. <br />- Flowage into the wetland. <br />- Avoidance of adverse impacts. <br />Consensus of the Council was to discuss this <br />Ordinance further at their next agenda meeting. <br />NO ACTION TAKEN. <br />15. Review of Ordinance No. <br />305 amending Ordinance No. <br />301, relating to wetlnds. <br />MOTION: Mayor McCarty made a motion, seconded 16. Fire Service Contract <br />by Councilmember Doty to accept Draft #6 of the with Spring Lake Park Fire <br />Fire Service Contract contingent upon favorable Department - 6th Draft <br />report of the insurance carrier for clause of <br />Article 6. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays MOTION CARRIED. <br />Official Rose presented Council with Resolution 17. Report of Building and <br />No. 1286 regarding Elderly Housing. He stated Zoning Official. <br />that the Resolution is needed so that the developers <br />can pursue HUD funding. <br />MOTION: Mayor McCarty made a motion, seconded <br />by Councilmember Doty to adopt Resolution No. 1286 <br />and to waive the reading of the Resolution. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays MOTION CARRIED. <br />Councilmember Blanchard stated that she had seen an <br />ad in the paper that some person was opening a <br />business called Sun Rise Enterprises, at 7801 Long <br />Lake Road. <br />Consensus of Council was to instruct staff to write <br />a letter to him asking what he is doing. <br />
