MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL <br />Regular Meeting <br />May 26, 1981 <br />Page Ten. <br />on the notification of these residents. It was <br />stated that the mobile home residents adjacent to <br />the proposal would be notified, and that a notice <br />would be posted in the laundry facility for the <br />rest of the mobile home residents. <br />MOTION: Mayor McCarty made a motion, seconded by <br />Councilmember Blanchard to approve the Consent <br />Agenda (eliminating Items B, D, and Q) and to waive <br />the reading of the Resolutions. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays MOTION CARRIED. <br />Councilmember Forslund asked about the storage <br />cabinet and the five drawer file on Item D of <br />the Consent Agenda. Clerk /Administrator Pauley <br />stated that the storage cabinet would be used <br />for utility billing records in the front part of <br />the office area. <br />Councilmember Doty statd that he would like to <br />have the five drawer file for the Council Chambers <br />so that he would have a place to store some of his <br />materials. <br />Funds that would be used to cover these items was <br />discussed. Clerk /Administrator Pauley stated <br />that $833.00 had been saved on the dictaphones <br />and that this money would be used to cover these <br />items. <br />Councilmember Forslund stated that she would not <br />use the file in the Council Chambers. <br />Mayor McCarty stated that he also has no use for <br />it. <br />MOTION: Mayor McCarty made a motion, seconded by <br />Councilmember Doty to approve Item D of the Consent <br />Agenda, minus the five (5) drawer file cabinet as <br />noted in memo of May 19, 1981, and to waive the <br />reading of the Resolution. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays MOTION CARRIED. <br />Councilmember Forslund asked about the expenditure <br />of $5,325.83 to Short Elliott on Item Q of the <br />Consent Agenda. Clerk /Administrator Pauley <br />discussed this expenditure in length. It was <br />noted that reports would be sent to the Council <br />on major improvements. <br />
