Moinds View City Council June 8, 1981 <br />Regular Meeting Page 2 <br />rollcall vote was taken: <br />Councilmember Forslund - aye <br />Councilmember Blanchard - aye <br />Councilmember Doty - aye <br />Councilmember Hodges - aye <br />Mayor McCarty - aye <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor McCarty reviewed Resolution No. 1298 <br />for those in the audience. <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Hodges to approve <br />Resolution No. 1298 and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor McCarty closed the regular meeting and <br />opened the public hearing for Silver Lake Woods <br />at 7:40 PM. <br />Official Rose reviewed the applicant's request <br />and stated that Staff finds the proposed sub- <br />division, rezoning, planned unit development <br />and conditional use permit to be in conformance <br />with the previous agreement of September 22, 1980 <br />and present municipal codes. He stated that <br />the applicant is before the City in the develop- <br />mental stage of the PUD process. <br />Fred Haas, Vice - President of Marvin Anderson <br />Construction Co., who will be doing the <br />residential development, gave the background <br />of his company and their reputation in the <br />Metropolitan area. He stated they would try <br />to leave the area in its natural state, as <br />much as possible, and would be putting in <br />tennis courts, pathways, park, etc., with a <br />sidewalk to go around the perimeter to allow <br />access to the park. <br />Terry Foster, of Kraus - Anderson, reviewed <br />the proposed colluuercial development, stating <br />shat the R -4 had been set aside for elderly <br />lousing. He stated they would be putting in <br />a medical building, restaurant, one story <br />retail building, and office building, and <br />have proposed two deluxe office buildings <br />Motion Carried <br />7. Consideration of <br />Resolution No. 1298 <br />Acceptance of Sani- <br />tary Sewer Main, Water <br />Main, Storm Sewer <br />Drainage and Street <br />Improvements Required <br />under Development <br />Agreement 79 -29 <br />Motion Carried <br />8. Silver Lake Woods <br />Planned Unit Develop- <br />ment Including Condi- <br />tional Use Permit, <br />Rezoning, Subdivision <br />and the Installation of <br />Local Improvements <br />
