Mounds View City Council June 8, 1981 <br />Regular Meeting Page 13 <br />kttorney Meyers had no report. 20. Report of Attorney <br />Councilmember Doty stated he had not been <br />able to attend the Park meeting, and had <br />no report. <br />Councilmember Blanchard referred to the Ramsey <br />County League newsletter and stated she would <br />not be able to attend the meeting. <br />Councilmember Hodges inquired as to the <br />letter from Mr. Smith, regarding a pothole <br />in the road. Clerk /Administrator Pauley <br />replied that it had been turned over to <br />the insurance company. <br />Mayor McCarty reported that he had attended <br />a subcommittee meeting for the Metropolitan <br />Airport Commission and reviewed what had <br />happened. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Blanchard to <br />authorize the City Attorney to review the <br />Metropolitan Development Guide and determine <br />if they are legal in their approach to the <br />1980 session laws. <br />5 ayes <br />21. Reports of Council - <br />members <br />0 nays Motion Carried <br />Mayor McCarty reported that the Wetlands <br />Committee meeting would be scheduled for <br />Thursday, June 18th at 7 PM, <br />Mayor McCarty reported he had attended <br />the special session of the Legislature, <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported that <br />the City had accepted the bid of Midway Ford <br />for the two new police vehicles, both to <br />have full frames, but that the cars arrived <br />with unibody frames. He added that in <br />checking with Midway Ford, he was told that <br />Ford no longer made a full frame. <br />Wayne Loeffler, salesman from Midway Ford, <br />reported that the unibody frame was found to <br />be acceptable and was in use in many colluuuniti,es <br />for their police cars. He added he did not <br />'feel it would present any problems to have the <br />inibody frame in lieu of the full body frame, <br />Mayor McCarty asked if the dealership would <br />be willing to grant an extended warrantee. on <br />22, Report of Administrator <br />
