Mounds View City Council July 13, 1981 <br />Regular Meeting Page Three <br />Dsse Warren, of the Planning Commission, stated <br />chat the Planning Commission had recommended <br />approval of the project with the idea of having <br />screening and that she was concerned it would <br />still be required. Mayor McCarty replied that <br />the Council was taking it into consideration <br />and he recommended that Mr. Braslau would be <br />able to suggest the type of barrier that would <br />best suit the area. <br />Mayor McCarty closed the public hearing and <br />reopened the regular meeting at 8:31 PM. <br />Motion /Second: Hodges /Doty to approve tax <br />exempt financing for Tyson Trucking and <br />approve Resolution No. 1324 and waive the <br />reading of the resolution, and approve the <br />development agreement to be drawn up, to <br />take into consideration the noise. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor McCarty stated he was concerned that <br />a thorough financial check be done on <br />Tyson Trucking. Russell Prince, of Juran <br />Moody, Inc., replied that they were <br />,:onsidering doing a private placement of <br />the bonds, and Tyson Trucking will be <br />subjected to a very close scrutiny of their <br />financial statements. He added that he has <br />reviewed them already and find they are very <br />qualified. He also stated that they do not <br />plan 100% financing and he does not believe <br />the end financing will exceed $2,000,000. <br />Mayor McCarty noted that the public hearing <br />for the Kraus - Anderson tax exempt financing <br />had been cancelled. <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Hodges to set a new date <br />for the Kraus - Anderson tax exempt financing <br />public hearing, to be August 10, 1981 at <br />7:40 PM and 7:50 PM. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor McCarty asked that Item G be removed <br />for discussion. <br />Dtion /Second: Doty /McCarty to approve the <br />consent agenda, minus Item G, and waive the <br />reading of the resolutions. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion Carried <br />6. Tax Exempt Financing <br />for Kraus- Anderson <br />Development on North <br />Side of County Road I <br />Motion Carried <br />7. Approval of the <br />Consent Agenda <br />Motion Carried <br />
