DATE APPROVED: 9/14/81 <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Regular Meeting <br />August 24, 1981 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order 1. Call to Order <br />by Mayor McCarty at 7:30 PM on August 24, 1981. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Doty, Forslund, 2. Roll Call <br />and Blanchard, and Mayor McCarty. It was noted <br />that Councilmember Hodges had an excused absence. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Clerk /Administrator Pauley, City <br />Attorney Meyers and Building and Zoning Official <br />Rose. <br />Motion /Second: Blanchard /Doty to approve the <br />minutes of the August 10, 1981 meeting as <br />presented. <br />ayes 0 nays 1 abstain <br />Mayor McCarty stated he was abstaining from the <br />vote as he had not been present at that meeting. <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Forslund to approve the <br />minutes of the August 17, 1981 special meeting <br />as corrected. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Blanchard to approve the <br />minutes of the August 18, 1981 special meeting <br />as presented. <br />4 ayes <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br />Motion Carried <br />Motion Carried <br />0 nays Motion Carried <br />Harry Gumm, 7805 Greenwood Drive, stated he had <br />signed a petition regarding the recent election, <br />and had then received a call the night before <br />the election and was asked how he was going to <br />vote. He asked that the person in question be <br />reprimanded. <br />lyor McCarty asked Clerk /Administrator Pauley <br />_o place the issue on the next agenda for <br />discussion, and asked him to send the pertinent <br />information to the Charter Commission. <br />4.
