Mounds View City Council August 24, 1981 <br />Regular Meeting Page Seven <br />otion /Second: McCarty /Doty to direct Staff to <br />install or repair the barricade that has been <br />broken out of the southeast edge of Spring Lake, <br />and have the area policed. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Attorney Meyers suggested that they check into <br />making it a trespassing vJ_olation. <br />Mayor McCarty stated he would like Staff to <br />research the thought of basing an accessory <br />building size on the percentage of lot area. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Blanchard to refer <br />to the Planning Commission the thought of <br />basing an accessory building size on the <br />percentage of the lot area. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor McCarty stated that the Staff proposal for <br />Lakeside Park shows a $10,000 contribution, while <br />$10,650 was asked for. He stated he felt the <br />additional $650 was required as they did not want <br />o cut services. Clerk /Administrator Pauley <br />replied that Park Director Anderson had revised <br />the figures down as he felt some costs had been <br />overestimated. Mayor McCarty replied he would <br />check with Park Director Anderson when he <br />returned from his vacation. <br />Motion Carried <br />Motion Carried <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported that there 16. Report of <br />would be a Wetlands Committee meeting at 7 PM Administrator <br />on August 26. <br />He also stated the City had received a copy of <br />the 1982 Metro Council proposed work program <br />and budget, which would be placed in the workroom. <br />Motion /Second: Forslund /Blanchard to approve the <br />hiring of Jerry Tri, for a total of 50 working <br />days, at a rate of $4.50 per hour, for the <br />Sewer Department. <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays Motion Carried <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported that per <br />tie salary administration program review <br />sidelines, he was currently reviewing salaries <br />and would be making recommendations to the <br />Council soon. He asked that a Councilmember <br />be appointed to the committee. <br />
