Mounds View City Council November 5, 1981 <br />Special Meeting Page Two <br />The Council then entered into a <br />lengthy discussion on the proposed <br />Position Descriptions resulting from <br />the recently approved reorganization <br />of the Public Works and Building and <br />Zoning Departments with Clerk- Adminis- <br />trator Pauley. A concensus was <br />reached on the language for each of <br />the Position Descriptions involved, <br />Engineering /Planning Technician, <br />Building Inspector, Public Works <br />Superintendent, Director of Public <br />Works /Community Development. <br />A lengthy discussion was entered into <br />with Clerk - Administrator Pauley <br />regarding the Revenue Shortfall being <br />experienced by the State of Minnesota <br />and its impacts upon the City of <br />Mounds View as it would relate to the <br />deferral of payments of local govern- <br />ment aid and homestead credit payments. <br />It was the concensus of the Council <br />that State Senator Don Frank and State <br />Representative Paul McCarron be invited <br />to the November 27, 1981 Regular Meeting <br />for a review of the impacts these pay- <br />ment delays would have on the City of <br />Mounds View. <br />Motion /Second: Doty /McCarty to adjourn <br />the meeting at 8:50 p.m. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />5.
