CALL TO ORDER <br />Members present: McCarty, Forslund, Doty, 2. ROLL CALL <br />Blanchard, Hodges <br />Others present: Clerk - Administrator Pauley <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Blanchard to adopt 3. RESOLUTION NO. 1385 <br />Resolution No. 1385 Commending the Irondale <br />Knights Football Team as North Suburban <br />Football Champions and to waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Motion /Second: Hodges /Doty to approve a <br />change order to the Silverview Park improve- <br />ments not to exceed $1,700.00 for the sodding <br />of the drainage ditch. <br />5 ayes <br />4. SILVERVIEW PARK <br />0 nays Motion Carried <br />It was the concensus of the Council that it 5. SPECIAL CLOSED <br />meet with City Attorney Meyers at 6:00 p.m. MEETING - 11/23/81 <br />on Monday, November 23rd in closed session 6:00 p.m. <br />to discuss matters of litigation at his <br />request. <br />Mayor McCarty advised the Council that he 6. RONALD O'CONNELL <br />had been approached by Ronald O'Connell, PLACEMENT OF <br />2290 Terrace Drive, regarding the place- DRIVEWAY <br />ment of his driveway closer than 5 feet to <br />his property line. It was Mayor McCarty's <br />recollection that construction of the drive- <br />way occurred prior to the establishment of <br />a 5 foot setback, <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Forslund to dis- <br />continue action on the O'Connell case to <br />have the location of the driveway brought <br />into conformance with the Zoning Code as <br />it was constructed prior to the implementa- <br />tion of the requirement and refund the $50 <br />variance application fee paid by O'Connell <br />with the agreement of the City Attorney. <br />
