Mounds View City Council December 28, 1981 <br />Regular Meeting Page Three <br />development on it's own merits, as they come <br />before the Council. <br />Mr. Sunde stated that the planned size of the <br />pond had been submitted to the DNR and other <br />agencies, but that he was willing to bring back <br />a plan that places the pond totally within the <br />parimeters of the development. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Doty to amend the <br />previous motion to accept the storm water <br />drainage plan for Kraus /Anderson's development, <br />contingent upon performance of the developer, <br />as stated this evening. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley advised that Rice <br />Creek Watershed District has asked to be included <br />as a co- beneficiary of the bond. Attorney Meyers <br />explained that he would be concerned that, in the <br />event of any problems, Mounds View be completely <br />protected and would benefit or collect first from <br />the bond. <br />Fred Haus, of Mary Anderson Homes, explained <br />that they are already 80% completed with the <br />pond, and that by the time the bond is pre- <br />pared, they will be close to completely <br />finished, and thus, it should not present <br />any problem or danger to the City to have <br />Rice Creek Watershed District added on as <br />co- beneficiary. <br />Mayor McCarty stated that he was concerned <br />they become involved in the pond only, and <br />not public improvements. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Forslund to include <br />Rice Creek Watershed District in the bond <br />for the pond. <br />5 ayes <br />Motion Carried <br />0 nays Motion Carried <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Doty to make the <br />1982 budget considerations Item 7A on the <br />agenda. <br />5 ayes <br />7A. 1982 Budget <br />Considerations <br />0 nays Motion Carried <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley presented the <br />Council with a spread sheet, giving a better <br />picture of the expenditures of the City.
