CALL TO ORDER <br />to order by Mayor McCarty at 6:41 p.m. <br />on December 30, 1981. <br />Members present: Hodges, Forslund, Doty, 2. ROLL CALL <br />Blanchard, and Mayor McCarty. <br />Others present: Clerk - Administrator Pauley <br />and Finance Director Brager. <br />Clerk - Administrator Pauley presented <br />Resolution 1398 Authorizing Certain <br />Interfund Transfers. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Hodges to adopt <br />Resolution No. 1398 and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes <br />3. RESOLUTION NO. 1398 <br />0 nays Motion Carried <br />Clerk - Administrator Pauley presented a <br />memorandum signed by all of the Department <br />Heads indicating that it was their unanimous <br />position to abide by the decision of the <br />City Council regarding 1982 raises for <br />management level staff. Mayor McCarty <br />presented analysis of management and non <br />management salaries for non -union employees <br />that he had prepared and stated that it was <br />his position that management level raises <br />could not be held back. The Council entered <br />into a general discussion of the merits of <br />giving management level raises for 1982. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Hodges to adopt <br />Resolution No. 1399 approving 7% salary <br />increases for 1982 for management level <br />positions and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes <br />4.
