RESOLUTION 7773 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> APPROVING A CONTRACT FOR JANITORIAL CLEANING SERVICES FOR THE <br /> CITY HALL OFFICES AND POLICE DEPARTMENT AND WEEKEND CLEANING FOR THE <br /> MOUNDS VIEW COMMUNITY CENTER <br /> WHEREAS, the City's current contract for janitorial cleaning services at the City Hall <br /> offices, Police Department and the Mounds View Community Center will expire on May 1, 2011; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Hall and Police offices need to be cleaned on a weekday basis and <br /> the Mounds View Community Center need to be cleaned on Friday and Saturday evenings after <br /> the building closes; and <br /> WHEREAS, six (6) qualified cleaning companies submitted quotes ranging from $1,600 to <br /> $2,400 per month to provide said janitorial cleaning services for the City Hall offices, Police <br /> Department and the Mounds View Community Center; and <br /> WHEREAS, the lowest combined quote was from CleanTech in the monthly amount of <br /> $1630.00; and <br /> WHEREAS, CleanTech has been providing janitorial cleaning services for these facilities in <br /> a satisfactory manner during the past three years. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br /> Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1. The quote submitted by CleanTech to provide janitorial cleaning services for the City <br /> Hall offices and Police Department during weekdays, and for the Mounds View <br /> Community Center on weekends in the combined amount of $1630 per month is <br /> hereby accepted. <br /> 2. City staff is directed to prepare a three -year term service contract with CleanTech for <br /> said services at said facilities for said price. <br /> 3. Upon satisfactory review by the City Attorney, the Mayor and City Administrator are <br /> hereby authorized to execute into said janitorial service contract with CleanTech. <br /> 4. The funds to administer this contract are to be derived from the Buildings and Grounds <br /> Department of the General Fund (Account No. 100 4460 -3030) and Mounds View <br /> Community Center Building and Grounds (Account No. 252 4350 5110). <br /> Adopted this 25th day of April, 2011. <br /> J,de Flaherty, Ma r <br /> ATTEST: <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (SEAL) <br />
